About the Conference

Portland-area community health and social service providers have partnered for the third year to present the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Meaningful Care Conference. The conference celebrates National LGBT Health Awareness Week, a nationwide event organized by the National Coalition for Lesbian Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health. This organization works to improve the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and communities across the U.S. through public education, coalition building and advocacy.
